Re: Rude gurus...Carb problems-V6

I had been warned about the sierra kits, but had not to this time had any issues...well, it got me this time...
Mar-Fab has their own line pf high quality parts called TECH20, and what they have supplied me with so far, has been every bit if not better than OEM...that's what I'll use for kits in the next one...
These carb kits (Sierra) are new with a litter tan gasket material, and were supposed to be better....they still leak...
I should also mention, I had a sierra bearing failure at 7 hours total time that cost me alot of time for a second rebuild of my 200 Rude....it now has tech2o bearings and you can tell the difference in quality just by looking...

Kenny I had the same thing with the needle seat happen to me from a Sierra kit. Like you I no longer trust those kits. Glad you could shade tree that problem. Now I have one more thing to add to my list from you and Dehadley, rod ,obj and a few others. :D
