Running engine on flush adapter

Just wondering how long it is safe to run the engine on the hose. 96 SeaDoo

a couple of minutes, the pump seal and the carbon seal will get hot if you run it too long, add a little dish soap to the flush hose, time it to see how long it takes for the soap to stop coming out the exhaust usually 2 min , that tells you how long it takes to totally flush out the system.

Thanks Jeff, Charged the batteries and wanted to run it a few minutes..Few more weeks and it should be warm enough for the first run in the lake..

as long as u want, but never over 1/4 throttle
ski on, then water on
water off, then ski off

On a sea doo that isn't actually a good idea due to the carbon drive shaft seal and the front pump seal overheating and incurring damage, water cools those seals and running out of the water on a trailer won't allow the seals to cool off.

Download manual from See Doo site. Mine says 5 min (Challendger 1800)
