I have some running problems and figured I would pick some brains first. Initially I thought the carbs had to be rebuilt and was going to order a manual and two carb kits but I?m not so sure it is the carbs.
It?s a 96 90hp V4 crossflow.
So I figured it was probably the carbs since trying to run fresh gas did nothing to the quality. The boat runs fine during warm-up with the choke on but once it warms up it seems to turn lean and I have to keep bumping the choke to keep it idling.
Could it be something besides the carbs?
Maybe a fuel pump or something?
I have to go get my fuel gauge from my friend so I can test this.

- I have new plugs, filters and batteries taht are charged
- Two summers ago the tank was pulled from the boat (cleaned and new lines installed).
- Last summer it ran fine but was not in the water because my father in-law was trying to sell it.
- He gave me the boat in November but it didn?t run properly so I said I?ll take care of it in the spring.
