Running the filter out of fuel.

I had my new to me 1987 vip w/125 force out yesterday and at full speed it
starts starving for fuel ie the filter goes almost dry. If I slow down it fill back up about 1/4. Ideas?

change your fuel pump diaphram

Replaced fuel pump diaphram and inline filter. Took it out last night and it still does the same thing. At full throttle speed hunt (goes up and down) the
primer ball seams to be staying stiff.
