Guys, relax a bit. ain't werth gettin riled over a couply of quasi-internationalists that ain't wired quite right. heck. you know they're jus doin this to get a rise out of yall (but forwhatitsworth, reading their sanctamonious pablum is makin me ill). aint-a-one of em got the guts to carry on like this to yer face. iffin they REALLY hate America as much as they pretend to, they'ed-a-left already. and, as much as can be discerned, they'z still here. course, maybe they jus can't afford a ticket out i'm sure they'er willin' to accept a couple of one-way tickets to some nicer place like iraq, russia or france. wuddayu say we take up a collection & start searchin' "Priceline.com" once they suggest a preference. i spec they'll a be replyin with the same ol' CRAP about how they don't hate America and not wantin to leave & jus tryin to make it "better" here. but i got a better idea. save the retort, LEAVE,.. and go make someplace else "better" cuz here is already BETTER! yall have a nice day

KKC, am glad to see that you were there and made it out. I am going to say one thing about this and then I'm done. If you were not there or had anyone close there, then you don't have a clue as to what terrorism is. I had a brother and 3 close friends that weren't as lucky as KKC. They all perished. I for one hope they get all that is involved in 9/11 and that includes anyone that may have supplied even a napkin to their so-called cause. Not just get them and put them on trial, but get rid of them so they can never do anything else to bring anyone grief anymore. In other words, kill them.

I'm done with this topic. Some people just can't see the light of day, or don't want to.

What am I suppose to say other than it was the most unimaginable and scary day of my life. Total confusion! The worst part was those that were jumping out of the buildings when I exited on Vesey St. (north side of tower 1). The sound of their bodies hitting the street will live with me forever!

KKC, sorry to have offended. i wasn't there but DO understand even though i cannot possibly know what you went through. Spinner's been through hell over this and it aint right that either of you have to re-live it. our guys (& gals) are doin the right thing for the right reasons. If i may, it don't seem fit that you should have to get wound over the blatherings of a few who don't get.

Hey Spinner, Sorry to here about your loss' that day, I wish I could have done more to help your relitives and friends, but I was only able to help a few people once I got out, and that was only to assist a few people who were minorly injured before Tower 2 came down and we ran. I never saw the people I helped again after that day, I wish I knew their names, but we got seperated when we ran. At that point it was every person for themselves, unfortunatly.

Glad you made it out, KKC!! Must've been horifying!! As for the rest of the mideast being next, I don't think we will have to. Not too long ago, say before the attacks on America, we were shown very little respect by the rest of the world, because we were considered wimps with unimaginable power which we squanederd-away on the third world. We would load C-130's up with food and medicine to help starving nations, and shortly after unloading, the contents were spirited-off to supply some pack of thieves who were stronger than the rest.Shortly after a few of these trips, this mob RULED the country of desperate people with fear. The rulers would laugh at us. Well, no more! Kinda like Iraq. Surely, the sandman thought the UN would keep our resolve at bay due to world opinion. But he forgot a couple things..People like KKC, and many others, and a president that acted like one. The rest of the mideast may pay us some mind now, and we will have respect,and with it, a mellowing effect upon the factions that exist. We American ignore factions, and in our own society, melt them into Americana. Other nations have to learn how to do this to, or face the music of isolationism.

Thanks 12Footer, I really hated to expose myself like I did, because I don't particularlly like to talk about the events of Sept. 11. Not an easy subject for me, but there are an awful lot of people out there, locked away in some remote region of this country who never venture out far enough to see the real world, and that really irks me to no end. What do the terrorist have to do before these people understand...blow up the Rocky Mountains? I bet there would be alot more people out there that would get the big picture if they had attacked Hollywood and Arnold Swartzeneger or Martin Sheen were one of the victims instead of ordinary citizens just doing their job!
