Safe Weekend?

I just wanted to post and say i hope everyone had a good and safe weekend!<br />Many boats were on the water and some very crazy driving going on.<br />I hope all the great people on Iboats had a fun and safe time on the water!

Me too? this is the worst weekend to be on the water here,and roads there road blocks up everwere everbody be safe and and watch ya backs.

I played it double safe.Stayed home and did maintenance on the boat when not spouting opinions on dockside chat.

It was 90 deg here, and I took my boat on its annual first of the season shakedown cruise today. No problems at all.<br /><br />There were a few boats on the water, but very few, and hardly any rigs parked at the launch.<br /><br />I know it's a little early up north yet, and it seems like it was a week or so ago we had snow, and the water Temp was 49 deg, but...<br /><br />I wonder if gas prices are going to slow folks down a bit from making the trek up from downstate?

rolmops: Yeah, I had entirely too much time this weekend to try to stir up trouble on iboats, too.

PW2- I was gonna ask if the ice had broken up yet? <br /><br />Had plans to fish, but those changed when dads van died on his way to Canada.<br /><br />Too hot around here, and more crowded than anywhere else on the water- had planned to fish Fremont, but the boat traffic was too crazy. Literally a boat every 50 feet !!!<br /><br />But I managed to get a good sunburn working in the yard.
