I use a mixture of muriatic acid and water- 50/50. My boat is fiberglass, but I also use it on my outdrive, etc....... Works like magic- the stuff just sizzles off. And it's very inexpensive. But you have to rinse very thoroughly, and take other precautions.
Try googling muriatic acid hull cleaner, or simliar to get full information.

MAKE SURE YOU ARE CAREFUL WITH THE MURATIC ACID!!!

If you get any at all in our eyes you can go blind. It's not hard to do either. It will burn your skin if you do not yet it right off if you get some on you.

I have been using it for years for all kinds of stuff. I got a little splashed on my cheek from pouring it in the pool and it burned the crap out of me.

Just be careful and you'll be ok.

Toilet bowl cleaner 50% with 50% hydrogen peroxide.

It works and costs $2. Sponge it on/ off and it'll disappear.

I did this recently, I wish I bought a face mask so I wasn't breathing it. Therefore, I'd recommend one in a ventilated area outside.

IT WORKS.
