Okay, so it's literally a toy! Actually, it's a late 1970s vintage Robbe Prinzess, which is a model of the Glastron GT-150. Made in Germany, it is powered by an electric Robbe Roqua outboard motor. The boat measures a bit over 2-feet long. I still have to figure out the electronics and such, as I am learning as I go on this one. I've got a transmitter & receiver coming, along with an electronic speed controller, and a replacement propeller.
It's a lot easier ? but no less fun ? working on this in the basement than it is on the real ones in the garage! I've often thought about building a model of one of my real boats someday. This will have to do for now...
