What's the difference between a fairy tale and a sea story.

One begins, "Once upon a time....."

The other begins, "Now this ain't no lie...."

Just because they(California Fish and Wildlife) never heard of it happening doesn't mean it could not happen.

If they can not prove it was true. Does not mean it did not or could not happen.

Sad times when people cant believe a story they make the guy look like hes getting senile.

As a radio talk show host friend always says...."Never let the truth get in the way of a good story".

They were simply fighting over which one gets to devour the old man...

This story does have some inconsistencies. Like his comment about a mother bear with a cub and yearling. From what I know, bears only breed every second year. So it is very unlikely that a bear would have both a yearling and a cub with her.

Also no apparent cuts, scrapes from being in an altercation with a bear and mountain lion. I'm not saying it never happened, just something to think about.

had something very similiar happen to me, just not a bear and a cougar. it was a squirrel .....trying to take my trail mix, it climbed my leg, was digging at my backpack......then a sasquatch saved my trail mix! dont mess with sasquatch ( jacklinks jerky).

The story I saw, the news anchors said the man had also survived a plane crash and some other near death experience. If it isn't true, you got to give the guy credit for coming up with a good story. LOL

Don't forget "After I'm elected..."

I found the article interesting....a bit hard to believe, so I posted it here to see what the iBoats gang had to say about it.
