No clue what this is or where it's going but it was at a Wal Mart along I-94 in western Minnesota. I had to check it out and take a couple of pics.

Alternately, it is just passing through MN on the way to its final destination. The insignia on the hull denotes U.S. Air Force Pararescue (PJs) and Combat Control (CCT)

The internet is a wonderful thing - actually found a picture of that same boat on the manufacturers website.

Louisville, KY: This 30' Packcat supports the United States Air Force 123rd STS maritime operations including diving, water jumps, RAMZ jumps, search and rescue, and emergency response. It is capable of operating at night in extreme weather conditions and swift contaminated water. It is also used to support local authorities in the Ohio Valley disaster preparedness plans. Emergency equipment includes a roof mounted stretcher, defibrillators, generator, and first aid supply lockers.

Munson Aluminum Boats - Custom welded aluminum boats, landing craft, workboats, patrol boats, fire boats, passenger boats, dive boats, research boats, fishing boats, boom boats

Made in Seattle and on its way to KY - explains why it was in MN ;)

Air Force is the best branch of the services. Now we even have a navy! We had the best Barracks, (apartments) Messhalls, duty stations, aircraft and personnel. Inter service rivalry never dies!

So explain me this, you Air Force (Chair Force) get all the technical skill sets but how many pilots really come from the Air Force? Navy is global force! We dominate both air, sea, land! :). Delivery service of the best ground force there is (Navy Seals/Marines!)

You know I am retired Air Force (MSgt 20 years) don't forget our battle cry "Room Service !" (I think I had 30 cable channels in my foxhole).

Actually there are a lot of Airmen fighting right next to seals, marines, grunts. A lot of these guys are hard core and YES they started as Air Force.

So i see the air force subscribes to the theory that you need maximum overkill for towing even a tinny around!

Doubt that the Air Force owns the truck, probably just a common carrier delivery of the boat.
