I bought my first (used) boat this year. It has a 2002 Yam F115 on it, but does not have an hour meter, or the advanced information center.

I check the oil before use, which is probaly 10 hours a month, but otherwise just gas and go.

Can anyone propose a maintenance schedule for the likes of: oil and filter chage, lower unit oil change, lube points and frequency, tilt/trim maintenance.

Any suggestion is appreciated!

Go to a Yammy dealer and get an Owner's Manual, stinky.

That will tell you what the guys who designed and built it think.

Good luck. :)

You can view (and probably download if You know the trick) the Owner's Manual for Your Yamaha F115 4-stroke here:

http://www.yamaha-motor.com/outboard/service/servicehome/home.aspx
(View Owners Manuals)

It is PDF.
In Chapter 4, Manintenance, You have the maintenance chart/schedule You can follow.
A F115 service manual is probably wise to have also but you must buy that (not available to view/download as PDF online for free).

Thanks to all. I'll seek out the manual and go from there.
