SD 217 Hurricane

I have a 2005 5.0 L MPI w/1.47 gear ratio. My current prop is a Vengeance 19P 14 dia. Looking to replace it. My top speed is 46MPH (GPS) with 2 people and full tank. Anybody got the same boat with a better top in? IF so what prop are you using? Thanks

I don't have a Hurricane, but I'd check out the Merc Prop Calculator for ideas. I looked and they say you are right on for a stock application.

One thought - you could try out a 19" or 20" Enertia (suggested on the calculator)....

Check to see what the maximum recommnded RPM at full throttle is (if I remember correctly it is 4,600 RPM's) and prop to reach that at WOT.
