Hey guys,<br />This is getting addictive. Just picked up another OMC 5 hp from about 51-54, a Gale (Sea King, model no. 15GG9015, serial no. 422046). Pretty common and in good shape. Getting it ready to run again. Can anyone tell me where to get parts to rebuild the recoil spring/pull start mechanism? Will the ones listed for Evinrude/Johnson 54 to 65 (I think) work on these older outboards?<br />Also, the Sea King is missing the carb bowl plug (the threaded plug that screws in under the carb bowl). Anyone know of a parts source? If not, how can I plug this satisfactorily? A rubber plug?? Any ideas appreciated. Thanks.
