Oh don't get me wrong... I have nothing against those boats... my point is that a major project boat should only be considered if it is priced at about 5-10% of finished value... My montecarlo was about 3% of finished value to puirchase and finished I have (my labor not included) about 30% of finished value in it.... I think that this one is priced at about 30% and finished I think you'll be at about 70% with a LOT of labor..... I think a smart shopper in january could find a boat that needs nothing for that same 70% and use it as soon as the water thaws out.

BTW.... I didn't in any way mean to imply that you weren't smart if it sounded that way......

Thanks to all who responded to my question.

I have opted to "Keep Looking"! I guess the six boats and two waverunners along with paddleboat, kayak and two dinghys will have to do me for now!!! We will definetely be going bigger some day, just not today! thanks again guys, these IBOATS forums and the people who are on them are AWESOME. What a great source of information and opportunity for comradery among fellow boat nuts.
