I apologize if this comes off as a stupid question, but I need an opinion on how I should proceed.
I purchased a new Seahawk 4 yesterday at a screaming price. After inflating, I discovered there is a small "hole" at the black seam where the rear rod holder is located. It appears they didn't get enough coverage during application. (I tried to attach picture, but couldn't get it to work. Can email pic if someone wants to see it.)
I have talked with Intex this morning & they recommend taking the boat back to the store, since it's less than 24 hours since I purchased. My quandary, this is the last boat they had and I really want to keep it.
In everyone's opinion, can I successfully repair the boat with the supplied patch kit. Or will the raised texture of the rod holders prevent me from repairing?
Thanks in advance for your help.
