A new boat to me.. a 92 Gregor. It appears over the years there had been a few fish finders installed... latest one has a stack of pennies to level it out... what is a good acceptable way to patch these holes. If the proper way is not always easy...whats next best thing? I hope to use two of the existing holes for my new finder. Although looks to be close to prop.

great..cant post a picture all of a sudden. Anyways. The holes are screw holes into transom. Maybe 1/8th" under the waterline

thx

Thanks. Seems to have worked. Although some screws/holes are below than transom wood, thus only going through thin gauge aluminum. I got new slightly larger screws to make a tighter fit. I diddnt tighten too much tho. I'll let the sealant do the work.

I was able to mount my transducer with 2 of the existing holes- again no transom wood. I hope between the adhesive and the new screws it holds well. There really isn't much force although the transducer is a larger type. About 10" long. But if 5200 is the real deal...
