sears 7.5 gamefisher fuel issues

i have a sears gamefisher that i can't keep running . it will crank but only run for a few seconds and shut off could this be a float issue?
i just rebuilt the carb abd the fuel pump is good too i just replaced it last year . any advice would be a great help

Could be float or more likely fuel pump and flapper valve, I usually would recommend a carb kit, replace fuel lines and add a in line fuel filter, something like this kit on ebay

or call the people at www.certifiedpartscorp.com...they bought all of the eska stock and have every thing you need but you will have to call them.

their's a tecumseh manual floating around here, so you need to ask for that as well....recommended reading before and during the carb rebuild

yes i read some other posts and have requested the manual from cheapboatkev so hopefully i can get it soon and can use it
