From the rear view it looks like you can spread the roller mount brackets enough to give enough clearance for the through hull fitting.

I am going to drop the engine in today for a fit check. I will set the batteries, trim/tilt pump, and the trim tab pump in place to see where to fit them and where I can maybe put in a thru hull with seacock. Once that is done, I will pull the engine back out and lift the boat off the trailer to see what I can do with those rollers. The outside end rollers run just inside the chine so I don't thing I can move them out. The brackets don't seem to be adjustable side to side.

Got the engine into the boat for fit check #3. Here are the pics of the engine in the bay and other items ( batteries (one simulated with a box), the trim/tilt pump and the boat leveler pump). The bilge pump goes right in front of the crank pulley on the center of the keel (not installed yet). The white pads are puppy pads to keep any oil drips off the unfinished flooring while I fit check. The flooring is not glassed, screwed into place, or foamed until I figure out this seawater intake location. Hose routing to the seawater pump will be a pain but it looks like the only place for the thru hull and seacock is either underneath the oil filter (will put in a remote later if I can find a place to mount it) or on the starboard side in front of the alternator. I can only move the trailer rollers out about 2 inches so not sure that is enough to keep the thru hull away from the center of the keel. I have another fit problem with the exhaust but will cover that in another thread. Right now I need to finalize the seawater intake so I can finish the floor.

Anybody have experience with this thru hull for the seawater pickup for the engine? I am thinking maybe I could squeeze it in between the center of the keel and the trailer roller. Also, wondering if it could go in the 6 inch space between the transom and the first row of trailer rollers?

Bump.... Anybody have experience with the above thru hull pickup, how well it works?? They call it a high speed pickup but will it work well at low speed? Thanks...

In my message #20 above, the last picture is the transom and rollers from the side of the boat. I have about a 6 inch space between the two. I am thinking about putting the seawater pickup close to the transom in the space between the transom and rollers. How close can a thru hull seawater pickup be placed to the transom?
