Seems to be much less traffic on the forums this season than previous years.

It appears to me that there are fewer posts than normal for this time of year. I don't have any numbers to verify that, but from reading a few different forums, the posts seem fewer than in the past.

Think the economy is cutting back on boating? Boating costs, and as a luxury item to many of us, it would not surprise me if many people feeling the economic pinch leave their boat in moth balls for this season.

Maybe the launch ramps won't be as busy this year!

Not the case, Mark. We have already set a new record for users online.

OK,, then, that is my mistake. Can you tell if the post count is higher than previous seasons too?

I think the restoration section is busier than ever. General boating seems slower but I think that's cuz we've got so many more specific categories.

Not trying to barge in on the thread here, but I love all the differant catagories. I spend allot of time just reading and learning here and hope it continues. Also I've found I-Boats to be a good internet store and have already bought a prop and sparkplugs from them. Yall have a good thing going here.

I think it may be a bit slower since y'all northerners have been frozen in and/or flooded out all spring.

Yes. There are a couple ways to look at it, as I understand.

1. Number of members on line.

2. Number of posts; per day, etc.

Funny you should say that, because the only reason Im spending any time here, is because with the flooding, I haven't been able to have my boat launched yet. Need to pass the time somehow.

Put a solid day in today, got the crack in the hull patched over with a temporary fix that should last the season at least, got my outdrive reinstalled, and drilled for a scoop strainer.

haven't been able to do that until now, because I wasn't gonna lay in inches of water, or muck.
Hopefully be in the water the first part of this coming week.
