Ebb, at Radio Shack they have a product called "freeze spray" it's used for cold shocking electronic components. It is perfect for getting rid of moles. A little spray, and in a couple days it just falls off. I haven't tried it, but one of the engineers here did it, without beer :D

I cut a mole off with a knife last summer. I didn't think that thing was ever going to stop bleeding. Cured me of self surgery.

Since you brought it up... ..so did I. It was on the inside of my leg..getting larger each year...it had to go...with a pair of good scissors. I new it would bleed profusely..applied huge bandage and limped all day. No trace of a scar. Cant believe I waited so long. :)

I had a friend who told me his father removed his own hemroid (sp) in a foxhole in WW2.

Hey,

Looks like I need to update my medicine cabinet.

1.) Crazy glue.
2.) Septic pencil
3.) Lots of beer
4.) Sodering iron

I cut skin tabs off all the time. (Damn you dad and those bad genes) Sometimes without beer too.!!

Do you really need to go to the doctor to have stitches removed? I never have.

LF- I have an ongoing case of anal glaucoma, and I fear it will be getting worse now that my boat will be out in a few weeks. :)

Re: Self Doctoring

It wasn't exactly self doctoring but our Nephew came to visit a few years ago, I guess he was 16 then, and while we were away from the house decided to pierce his own nipples.

I freaked out. Worried that he had some kind of self mutilation problem. Come to find out it was just a fad with him. He knew he was too young to get it done legally, same with tattoos. He now has both.

And Mr. LF, I remember when you did that it was hanging by a little piece and I had to do the last part. Still turns my stomach.

Being the self-doctoring person I am, I would try blowing a little green smoke.....(EDIT)......in the vicinity ;)
