Separating Baja 250 ES??

I have a question maybe someone here might be able to answer from experience.
I emailed Baja to find out if I would have to separate my boat to replace the stringers. They told me I would have to "unsnap" it.
My question is actually twofold...1) Can I replace the stringers without separating the entire deck?
and
2) Has anyone done it before?

they're the expert on that boat. never done a Baja, lots of post on separating the hull.

I have only repiared older Donzis they have a full fiberglass liner that is part of the deck

If its like that It will need to come apart

On the donzi we had to pull it apart because the fuel tank is under the liner in the bow area and that was the only way to replace i

Hey Klos,

No interior pics yet, I've been working on rebuilding the seats. I've pretty much finished those, but we've hit a cold snap here in Charlotte, NC. I don't want to use a heater in my garage while doing the coats of resin...Too many other flammables!!
I also haven't considered whether I'm going to replace the stringers with wood or Seacast. They are sending me a sample of the product so I can check it out. It's going to be a long process....Everyone with a boat knows the story....Too little time, not enough money....
Anyway, I should be starting the indepth investiagtion on the stringers in the next month.

I know all about working in the cold. Here in MI its getting down into the 20's at night. Kind of a pain when working with fiberglass.
I would go with wood or foam for the core material if you are going to keep the boat for a long time.
