I just received a new service manual from ebay 88 through 115 90* cv perfect for 96. I cant find one for j140tlcte me and ken cook have one but it covers 2 to v-6 can I get one more motor and year specific? thank you.

bondo , I have a Johnson 1983 140hp marine enjine and ken cook is the only place I can find a service manual and it covers 2 hp to v-6 I would like to know if there is one more specific to my model and hp. thanks for your responce:joyous:

Ken Cook has the best manuals. Back in those years OMC had some screwy service manuals.

You might try the marineengine web site. I was able to get an OMC Service Manual that covered 7 models (90HP, 100HP, 105 Jet, 115HP, 150HP Commercial, 150HP, and 175HP. The Service manual looks to cover one year's worth of models, so it is very accurate. You will need your model number to get the correct manual.
