Just a little bit of info i'd like to pass along to those who have a point and condenser in their motor. When installing the points in the motor MAKE SURE that the spring that is holding the points IS NOT grounding its self to the casing. I have a 74 Sears 7.5 with points and when I changed the points i DID'NT notice that when I tightened the nut for the wires that the spring had moved DOWN and was grounding it's self out . This had me stumped for a while , cause I KNEW that the engine would run but found it had NO SPARK!!
