just thought id ask, i have a 96 5.7 merc with thunderbolt V ignition i want to make sure how to time it correctly. i have heard a few ways to due it. thanks dan
Assuming you have a carb, you will also want to do the idle mixture and idle speed, which both have to be in base timing mode as well. If you don't have the Merc Service Manual, look in the sticky's above and find links to download.
