I put a 1993 Yahama 130hp 2-stroke on my boat. I've mounted both a tach and a trim gauge. On the back of the tach there is 3 setting 4p,6p and 12p. Not sure which is the correct setting for the motor. I fired up the motor and the tach show low RPM in the low 100"s. By the sound of the motor the rpm were much higher. Right now its set to 12p.
As well the trim gauge is not regestering, it move only a little and its more of a flutter.
Any ideas where to start. I've checked all the conectors and cleand them up with some emery paper. So I'm not sure where to go from here.
