Hello everyone. Just have a question about some mystery parts that came with my lower cable kit. Kit came with 4 O-rings. One of them was for the water intake on the bell housing and its accounted for. The other three I didn't come across during the install. The only other O-rings I saw were on the drive shaft...and the ones in the kit aren't the same size.Im assuming that this is a universal kit,and these O-rings could be used depending on what model of outdrive one has,but just want to make sure I didn't miss something. I have a 1978 MC-1 . Also there is a plastic bushing with a flange on top,and looks like it clips into a hole...is this a shift shaft bushing? I didn't think of using it because mine have brass bushings already.

the 2 smaller ones go on th einput shaft, If you have a newer model the larger O ring also goes on the input shaft. That button is in the transom housing and i have never replaced one.
