i just put in a new shift rod but i dont have the tool to adjust the rod. the book says 7 13/64 but i dont know what that is. so my ? is can i adjust the rod with out the tool???
Sure you can, there's more than one way to skin a cat, the tool just makes it quick and easy for the flat rate mechanic, as long as you achieve that measurement it doesn't matter how you get there.
