I recently sea trialed a boat with 2000 225 opti max. When shifting into fwd or rev. there was quite a grind more than othr motors I have seen. ( Yamaha & Evinrude) I haven't tried another opti yet to directly compare. When idled down it was a little better but still grinded rather than a clunk into gear. Is this an OPti trate or is there a fix for smoother shifting. Thanks in advance.
