My problem is it won't go in to reverse. I tried to adjust the linkage and it still doesn't work. we took the lower unit off and pulled the shifting rod by hand and it goes into gear, when i mount the lower unit back on the shifting rod doesn't not come up high enough to go in reverse. The pin that slides in to the shifting rod right under the carb hits the bottom of the carb not allowing it to come up high enough to shift all the way. Any Ideas????
