Short to long shaft-parts that would work with my 1975 15hp Johnson

I have a 1975 15hp short shaft Johnson outboard motor. It is a tiller handle and pull start. I want to convert it to a long shaft. I am wondering what other motors (as far as year and HP) have parts that are compatible with my motor. The model number is 15R75C and the serial number is E4203451. How high or low can I go with HP and how old or new can I go with the year of the motor? Thanks.

This varies with the motor and the part. There are several websites that list parts diagrams. Go to one, look up your motor, then check for motors around your year to see what parts are compatible. Good luck! I'll send you a PM with a website.
