SHOULD A 1995 DT150 HAVE CARBS

HELLO, I JUST PURCHASED A SUZUKI DT150 SERIAL NUMBER IS 15003-581105 AS FAR AS I CAN TELL IT IS A 1995 ACCORDING TO PARTS BOOKS NO DT 150 IS LISTED FOR 1985. MY REAL QUESTION IS IF I LOOK IN THE PARTS BOOK THE 1995 IS SUPPOSED TO BE FUEL INJECTED BUT THIS ONE HAS CARBS. THE PARTS BOOK SAYS LAST YEAR FOR CARB WAS 1994. ANY IDEAS I WOULD APPRECIATE I AM GETTIN READY TO REBUILD THIS MOTOR AND WANTED TO KNOW TO ORDER MY PARTS.<br />SECOND QUESTION WILL THE DT150 BASS/SS HEADS BOLT ON TO THIS, THE MOTORS WITH DUAL PLUGS ALSO HAVE BORON CYLINDERS ARE THESE BETTER?

Is that the sir number for the motor? did you check the part number for the block? Doing so should tell you what type of motor, but not what year. S short process of elimination should get you to the answer. <br /><br />Not sure on your head question, but maping the pattern for compairson would aid in that answer.
