side and down or just down imaging?

anyone have an opinion of side imaging vs down imaging?...Do i need electronics that show both or will i be happy if i just go with the down imaging?

do you do a lot of wreck/reef fishing? Side scan is great for finding wrecks.

Side Imaging and Down Imaging allows you to look at structure in a much more detailed way. Down Imaging will cover just under the boat, while Side Imaging will cover out over 100' to each side. All Side Imaging HB units have a Down Imaging Screen. So Side Imaging, by default is better than one that just has Down Imaging.
