Simple engine rotation question, I think

Well, I finally got the controls fixed and now the starter went on my 1987 twin 350s Searay Amberjack (stabbord side)Pulled starter and went to get one but they come in standard and reverse rotation. Anyone know what I have ?

Is this an I/O or inboard? Do you have the serial number for the engine in question?

Well, I just dug through the file cabinet and found my old bill of sales. Unfortunately it doesnt say port or stabbord. It states... Engine #1 B489203 and Engine #2 B489166 they are 350, 260 hp mercruisers I/O

If it's a Mercruiser I/O, then it's standard (LH) rotation. Only the inboards used a counter rotating engine.
