Does anyone know the part number of the slip connector that connects into the fuel canister?
You know, the one that you have to push a screw driver against as you play push-me pull-you?
I have done this before but this time I can't get the canister disconnected, so I am going to replace the slip connector as well but I can't find the part.

It is the part that goes directly to the right of the fuel canister in the image.VAPOR_SEPARATOR_1.jpg

Re: Slip Connector - Part Number?

I think you are talking about 68F-24300-00-00. Which is the quick disconnect fitting on the downstream side of the canister fuel filter that is between the VST and the high pressure pump.

Try pushing the whole fitting towards the filter. Then, push in on the black plastic piece on the inlet side of the fitting back towards the fitting. Then, pull the fitting from the filter while continuing to push in on the black plastic locking part.

Good luck.

Thank You. I will try again, but yea, I have done this a bunch if times before but this time... don't know.
I think the part number you listed is exactly what I am looking for.

How did you find that? Is there a schematic with the shown on the NET somewhere?

Thanks again.

It can be seen in the Yamaha parts catalog which is available at yamahaoutboards.com

It is shown in the illustration labeled as the fuel injection pump.

God forbid they show it with the filter.
