i did not see anything like that when i took it a part, any pictures of it.
The bushing I was talking about is inside the slow speed orifice of your carburetor. It is a small plastic piece that looks like a very small funnel. It is #10 in this diagram. You should not use carb cleaner on it since carb cleaner and plastic parts don't work well together. It should be changed when you clean the carb since this is where you idle gas mixture is controlled and is intregal to your ability to idle.
Unless you specify you need complete tune up parts plus coils. you will probably wind up with on set of points and one condenser. Not all counter help understand that you have two of everything. Before you remove any parts, take plenty of pictures for reference. Post back results.
I did not see that piece or have a it in my kit. I am not even sure if that piece is in there. nothing fell out so i guess it might be.
It's in there. Almost impossible to see. I know you are getting a lot of different areas to look at, but if my idle was not working, I would want to replace or clean the part that controls it. It will not fall out either. I use a #8 deck screw, and very lightly turn it to bite into the bushing about one turn and pull it out. Make sure you don't drive in that screw too far since the steel screw will eat up your aluminum carb pretty quickly. Maybe others have some better ways to get it out, but that is how I do it. Be careful and good luck.
