I can't see the Pic too well, but is the Scupper the Higher or Lower circle? Never the less, that Baby is low in the Water!

Re: Slowly Sinking

It looks like the lower and it looks like it's completely under water. This is a bad sign. :(

I'm still thinking that water is somewhere it shouldn't be. MAybe the foam is soaked. there is a area where water is collecting that cannot get out. I had this problem with mine. I noticed the front was sitting lower than usual one day. Found out I had 20gallons of water stuck in the nose of the boat because a drain line was clogged. I'll never do that again.

Hi HotByte,
Don't know about about a little weight in the front making the stern higher, but I have had 6" of Water come over the front of my Toon and the Stern and Motor came OUT of the Water! Makes me wonder and scared the **** out of me at the same time. Acted just like a Big Teeter Totter. HUM???

Re: Slowly Sinking

It is the lower, and it is 1/2 way under. Not good, I agree. I will pull it out this weekend and completely drain to see.
When my 12 yo daughter, 90 lbs., stands on the bow, the scuppers come out of the water. That tells me that the engine is TOO big for this boat and I need some more weight up front. I am going to get a troller motor and xtra battery down the road, but I am trying to figure out if a better scupper system will help.
Thanks for all of the suggestions guys, keep it coming. I will take more pix this weekend.

Re: Slowly Sinking

Take a picture of the plate that explains max load and horsepower. I bet that will reveal your problem. Most of the 16' boats I have seen like that are rated max 50 to 60 hp engines. Good luck, and wear your PFD.
