small hole filling

getting close to painting my boat. have some small holes(old snaps&screw holes) and dock rash scratches to fill in.what is the best filler to use on a aluminum boat?don't need much.

Ayuh,.... Believe it or not,... A screw or rivet....

I've had good results with JB weld and Marine Tex. Use a backer plate held in place with 5200 where possible. I held mine on with duct tape while it set up.

Yup..rivets are good for them small holes ( snaps and what not ).

Alum rivets are IMHO best for your application..

Scuff and clean both sides..dab some 5200 fast cure on the shank..and pop'em n wipe'em.

Clean your riv gun with mineral sprites ;) ..
