Smart Tab monting location

I orderd the 1290-60's. I'm thinking of mounting them along the blue line in this pic. The area is 12 inches wide. The red line is a angle change (chine?) subtle but it does exist. I'll have to remove the pitot and may not bother reinstalling. The GPS always displays speed anyways.

I would go with the blue line. heres a pic of where i put mine:

It is better to mount them as far outboard as possible, here is another thread about this.

Here is where I had to put mine due to the swim platform supports. Had to move the pitoh. I called them and they assured me that they would work just fine where they are, and they do....
