Smart Tabs Install - yet Another

See the picture... I am going to install tabs this weekend but I think the transducer will have to be relocated. I plan to mount the tabs as far outboard as possible (marked) but I am not sure where to remount the transducer. Can I just mount that inboard of the tab and plug the old holes? I plan to fill the holes with some polyester resin / ballons and then use some gelcoat repair stuff I have for the final color match. I may have to relocate the tiedowns as well. Thoughts?

Move the tabs more outboard than your indicated spot. Don't worry about overlapping the strake. Then move the transducer inboard a few inches away from the tab.

Maybe its just the picture but your lower unite fin looks bent.

Thanks John. I have attached another picture. Would you set them as indicated in the port or starboard markings? Also, I sent you and Greg and email earlier today with some other questions.

Edit: Never mind... I see other people have quicker fingers than me.

Maybe its just the picture but your lower unite fin looks bent.

Good catch. It's bent ever so slightly. It doesn't affect anything so I left it alone instead of braking it off trying to fix it.
