Smokercraft Manual

Hi all,

This is my first post to this forum.

I have just gotten my first boat ('03 Smokercraft Stealth 162 40 hp Merc 2 Stroke). I didn't know that I would fall in love with it as much as I did. It seems to be taking over my entire life. It certainly beats sitting on the shore hoping a little luck will come my way.

Since I have been doing various things to the boat to make it my own I would like to find an owners manual for it. The original looks like it has been submerged for about 20 years and is so moldy the pages can't be turned. If anybody has any ideas please let me know.

Contacting Smoker would be your best bet. Obviously you can prove me wrong here since you actually have one.....but typically there isn't much useful info in boat owners manuals. Just safe boating procedures and stuff like that. And that's if they even produced a manual at all. However, a factory service manual for your Merc is invaluable. Welcome to iboats!

I am going to contact them on Monday. I just thought someone would have a secret stash they could share. I agree about the manuals but it never hurts to have it around for those times when you can't get to sleep and need something pretty much useless to bore you to sleep.

If you contact Smoker they will tell you to contact your nearest dealer.
