Fishing, fishing and then I think we might do a little more fishing. <br /><br />We start our vacation today. We'll fish the bay every day until Wednesday of next week. We are planning a two day trip south on the ICW.<br /><br />I am really looking forward to it. I just wish the wind would lay down a bit.

going down to S GA to amusement park, and to visit with old friends. this will be the 3rd yr in a row. it appears the weather might be the best ever.

We had our Victoria Day long weekend last weekend.<br />Spent the weekend up in the mountains fishing for<br />lake trout. Half the lake was still covered in<br />ice.Boat launch was clear though. My eldest son <br />Jacob caught his fill of trout and I might add<br />snow too. We got a mess of snow saturday night in<br />the campground and snow off and on while on the <br />lake. It dropped down to -5 deg cel. Still we had<br />a great time,it was good to just be back on the <br />lake.

Well, I almost got ran over twice...<br />Some idiots pulled out in front of me..3 TIMES...<br /><br />Got stuck behind a person doing 35 in a 55...Gray hair and knuckles...you know the kind...(no offense intended)<br /><br />Got out to the country where I live...Thinkin' I'm home free...NOPE! Got stuck behind some logging trucks.<br /><br />And all of this was just trying to get home! And I got off early today. The real traffic doesn't start until 3:00 !<br /><br />Now I know why I WON'T be doing anything on ME-MORON-ial day. (No offense against Memorial day...Just the idiots!)<br /><br />H.

Just got a look at the weather..... Looks like rain most of the weekend. Look'n out the window and it's dark....very dark. Looks like a storm brew'n. OK.....who's got Summer hid out???? Somebody's got ta' have it. Maybe it's just been canceled for this year.

A Perfect Holiday weekend==== stay at home(I,am in the country NO crowds) grill and smoke whole bunch of meat, eat and have a few cold drinks and OF COURSE work on the boat

Sounds good Jomac...Think I'm gonna do the same. I'm 20 miles from town, and it's nice and quiet here...Except for the teenage neighbor coming down the road with his 'recording studio on wheels' <br /><br />I got half my floor done at the end of summer last year. I planned on working on it in cooler weather in the winter, but it rained up until about a week ago! We had one of the wettest winters on record..(Well, actually a normal one...It's just we haven't had a normal water year for a very long time)<br /><br />I have to do the 'nasty' and grind the glass on the other side of the boat. I can't very well do that with tarps all over the boat, so I've been waiting for some dry weather. Looks like I have some for a little while. <br />I think it skipped spring here and went right to summer. It's been around 40 degrees and wet, now it's dry and 85+ ! <br /><br />So it's off to put my monkey suit on, grab the 8" grinder and...YEEE HAWWWW!<br /><br /> <br /><br />H.

If I get my way staying home or perhaps hitting some small waters like a pond or stream that no one else goes to. My last 3 days before Summer Vacation are Tue-Thur with Graduation (mandatory attendance) Friday night. I then have off until sometime the first part of August so I can do what I want then. Most likely the wife will drag me to the beach with the kids.

Haveing moved to the new home front all but 34 days today, cable modem installed today, dish yesterday, work monday:-->, my step son married last weekend,(rehersal, dinner, wedding and reseption + several wisky sours (slept 3hr on bathroom floor}, didn't loose any stomach liquids though! I'v caulked & painted back, caulked the fount 1/3, I find myself caulking my hotdog at the dinner table, kids think I'm looseing it. My daughter is at lake whitney or I would go to the lake here with her. Mowed and weedwacked, swept, I might just sit around the casa, drink a beer or two. Hope yall have a safe Mem. holiday.

Working--Double time and 1/2 plus 4 hrs time and 1/2 due to splitting one shift. <br /><br /> Hope everyone has a nice and safe Holiday. Remeber the reason for the Holiday.
