my dad happens to own a bar and he's got his own dumpster. he's been taking the fiberglass pieces a couple at a time and tossing in the dumpster.

he's been going through and removing the aluminum and tossing into his beer can recycling pile.

Chopped up two boats & several jetskis. A '79 Mustang Pace Car too btw. First boat I used an electric chain saw. Effective but messy. Now use a sawsall with carbide blade. Lot less dust. I'd imagine a circ saw with the right blade would work as well.

Don't have a problem with disposal. Just chop it into manageable pieces & the boys take it away. Ain't been 'pink stickered' yet?

A circular saw sends up an amazing amount of dust...and itch !!! A sawz-all is the tool to use with a twelve inch blade for fiberglass. :cool:

Most the people here have cut up a boat before, but the crazy ones seem to always want to put them back together! lol:D
