The red lever is how you set it to manual priming. Right now it is in electric mode if you turn it 180* it will be in manual mode. Think of the red lever as an arrow right now it is pointing to electric mode.

Thanks for your help. Sorry for the confusion. I now know that I have a 1983 and the solonoid is working right and that the carbs are set up right all from the forum. Thanks guys.
