Re: Someone Needs To Call This Guy!

I'm too far into mine to switch. Too much money invested and now I'm emotionally attached. If I had my choice from square one, it would have been the Chief all the way. Plus it's that sexy 60's style on top of it.

Someone needs this boat guys. Talk a family member or your best fishing buddy into it. They won't regret it.

Re: Someone Needs To Call This Guy!

I was looking for a website about a company that use to rebuild Starcrafts and put them up for sale. I remember reading about them on the net around ten years ago. Well my search was not going well as goggle had 2.4 million hits. But I did see this link you tin heads might get a kick out of.

Re: Someone Needs To Call This Guy!

That Offshore is exactly like mine:eek: The boat is rated for 125 HP and he put two 70's on it. I know he rebuilt the transom, but golly dats a lot 'o weight. Conctete? Spray Foam? Why add Horsepower then weigh down the boat. Seems if he put one 125 HP motor and adjusted his weight distribution he would be better off. OK, rant over...I want the fuel tank:p

BTW, the boat max capacity is 1900lbs.
Engines = 700lbs + concrete 200lbs + alum deck 175lbs + remainiing interior approx 250lbs + fuel, gear = ? Looks like maybe 2 people max can go aboard.
