I'm sorry you all, my mind is spinning with boats lately, since I'm locked down due the pandemic , so... I was listening to the radio and this James Brown song came on, it contained a line about boats as follows:

But it wouldn't be nothing, nothing without a woman or a girl
You see, man made the cars to take us over the road
Man made the trains to carry heavy loads
Man made electric light to take us out of the dark
