Re: sorry for the detroit lions but...

Here's why being a Saints fan was frustrating this year ...

Yards Per Game: 410.7, 1st in NFL
Yards Passing Per Game: 311.1, 1st in NFL
Points Per Game: 28.9, 1st in NFL
Yards Per Play: 6.28, 1st in NFL

2008 Record: 8-8

I guess the moral to the story is that being good on one side of the ball only, doesn't make for a winning season. Averaging a lot of points doesn't help either, if you don't get the points in the right games.

I hope favre is done. i loved the guy, but all the stunts going on this past off season was ridiculous. Rodgers is great. He also had a better QB rating than favre.

i would have thrown my tv out the window if the packers lost....

I feel sorry for the Detroit fans. That club has always stunk. i don't know what it is, they just can't figure out the way to win.

It is noce however to have them in our division. Much like the Bucs used to be. For years they were a pushover too.

There is hope for the Lions. They have drafted a new coach from China. I think I read his name was WinOneSoon.

I still miss Roger and Tom Landry.

The hope for the lions is that the curse of bobby lane will finally be lifted... http://www.curseofbobbylayne.com/

But based on the decisions ford made immediately after the season ended, next year isn't looking much better.
