well I got my timing right thanks to you fellers but now when I throttle up it's like the prop's not keepen up with the motor,I have to accellerate slowly or the motor tack's out,I did have my bottem end out to replace waterpump, any sugestions? thanks Mudflap

Sounds like you did not get the shifter line up right. When you pulled the lower unit, did you have the motor in forward?

remove it, take it to a prop shop and have it re-hubbed.

I had it in nutrial when I pulled lower unit and the same going back in, foward and reverse seem to engage properly? Got it wet but not right yet :mad: Thanks again! Mudflap

ok guys I took it to the prop doc and nothing's wrong with prop, but I do remember that when I had lower unit off a friend of mine moved the position of the shiftshaft cam so I guessed when I put it back together. So can someone tell me the proper way to pull L/U , proper placement of cam and install. graspen at straws! thanks Mudflap
