Source for an Evinrude pressure tank gas cap??

I have a pressure tank in good condition that I'd like to use as a backup. Unfortunately, it is missing its cap--kind of an important part of a pressure tank. I've seen complete cap-gauge-connector systems from rusted out tanks on Ebay, but they've always gotten a bit to expensive for me. I'm looking for just the cap. Does anyone know a source for these?

Thanks

Those tanks haven't been made for over 40 years.

Is the cap broke? Or does it just need the rubber seal?

The cap is completely missing. The guy I bought it from was using a bathtub plunger and a 2" PVC pipe cap, but that didn't work very well.

I know they haven't been made in over 40 years, but I thought even if they aren't sold anymore, maybe somebody had a suggestion as to what might work as a replacement.

Try a junk OB place like Twin City Outboards, Trixie's Marine in Bayville, NJ, American Outboards in MD, etc. I can't imagine anything but a proper cap working.
