spare tire ?

I have a load rite jetski trailer that has 4.80x 12 tires on it.A friend gave me a 5.30x 12 tire mounted on a rim.The bolt pattern is the same but the tire is about an inch taller.Can I use this as a spare in an emergency.

Yes - provided the fender clears it when installed.

mythbusters used a log as a spare tire... If it fits, use it!

Mount it just to be sure that it has the right offset and it clears the fender. Good for a spare.
