Spark plug replacement question

Not 5 minutes into the tune-up and I'm stumped. The plugs to the rear of the motor...clearance between the plug and the manifold is so tight I can't get a wrench on the plug. I can get a socket on the plug but can't get the wrench on the socket. I shouldn't have to remove the manifold to change plugs right?

I'm not saying you have to or not, but I have had to pull the engine to get to things like spark plugs, starters, raw water pumps etc. ......................

Try a knuckle plug socket.

I have serious doubts as to whether that would work. I can barely get the socket over the plug. There's no room for the wrench, and no real angle for the knuckle socket. I found on another board that people are using offset box wrenches. Gonna give that a try.

Offset box wrench worked.
